• Wash gently in the direction of the hair; avoid rubbing or scrubbing the base.
• Pat dry and let it air-dry where possible.

Styling

• Use low heat and light products.
• Avoid harsh chemicals and frequent high-heat styling.

Re-attaching

• Over time the tape or adhesive loosens.
• Remove the old tape or adhesive carefully with a suitable remover to protect the base, clean the base, then re-attach.

Care by base type

• Skin: generally the simplest to clean.
• Lace: more delicate — handle and clean gently.
